Veteran actor Qazi Wajid being remembered on fourth death anniversary

KARACHI (92 News) – The fourth death anniversary of classical drama legend and veteran actor Qazi Wajid is being observed on Friday (today).

Qazi Wajid passed away in Karachi due to heart attack at the age of 87. He was one of the pioneers in the radio industry of Pakistan. After remaining associated with the industry for 25 years, he resigned and performed as an actor. His famous dramas are Ankahi, Dhoop Kinare, Tanhhiayaan, Marvi etc.

He was honoured with a Pride of Performance Award in 1988 by the Government of Pakistan.
