Victory in NA-120 by-election is people's win: Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has on Monday said that the victory in NA-120 by-election is the victory of people. Addressing the inaugural ceremony of three-day 'Asia Peace Film Festival' with the theme 'Film for Peace' at Pakistan National Council of Arts in Islamabad on Monday, he said that the investigations are being carried out over the reports of kidnappings of some people from the NA-120 constituency. The minister said that the people have voted in favor of development in NA-120 by-poll, adding that the whole nation deserves to praise. Ahsan Iqbal said: “We will not let anyone use Pakistani soil for terrorism, adding that peace is inevitable to harvest the fruits of development endeavors.” The minister said films are a source of learning as they not only combine the fiction and the real world together but also educate the viewers on social problems. He called upon the foreign film makers to take advantage of the scenic places of Pakistan and shoot films in the country.
