Video statement of guard injured in an attack on the Pakistan Embassy surfaces

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The video statement of Sepoy Israr Muhammad, who was critically injured in the attack while protecting the Head of Mission, has surfaced on Tuesday. 

In the video statement, Sepoy Israr Mohammad revealed that the incident took place on December 2. “After the Asr prayers, both of us were walking when suddenly someone opened fire on us. I was five meters behind the ambassador. I jumped on the ambassador and knocked him down,” he revealed. 

Sepoy Israr Muhammad said that when he was picking up the ambassador, he was shot in the chest. "I kept one hand on my chest and pulled the ambassador with the other hand. I told the ambassador you were not shot. There is friction with the ground. I do not care if my life is sacrificed for the duty for which I was appointed to protect the ambassador. But I had to take care of my representative and I did that,” he concluded.
