ISLAMABAD (92 News) – India has started work on another power project at Chenab River in Indian Held Kashmir in violation of the Indus Water Treaty 1960. According to the Indus Water Treaty 1960, India cannot interfere in the water of Ravi, Chenab and Jehlum rivers. The 500 Megawatts project will block 1,000,000 acres ft water. India is contiuuing the construction of hydle power project despite the objections rasied by the Indus Water Commission.
