FAISALABAD (92 News) – The Vanaspati Manufacturers Association (VMA) has announced to close ghee mills against raids in Punjab from Wednesday. PVMA chairman Aizaz Ali Malik said that the administration was harassing them. He said that they would also stage a sit-in outside the DG Food Authority. “We condemn the Food Authority’s assertion that Vanaspati ghee is not up to the mark,” he said. Aizaz Ali Malik said that the Food Authority is hell bent on closing their business, which they would not tolerate. He demanded that the Food Authority should immediately end baseless propaganda. The PVMA chairman said that the strike duration could be extended if the raids were not stopped.
