Impressive flag-lowering ceremony held at Wagah on Defense Day

LAHORE (92 News) – A graceful flag-lowering ceremony was held at the Wagah border near Lahore on Sunday evening in connection with golden jubilee of Defense Day to pay tributes to the martyrs. A large number of enthusiastic people including women and children rushed to the border to witness the flag-lowering ceremony The Pakistan Army, Rangers, Police and other law-enforcement agencies personnel were also present on the occasion. During the ceremony the parade ground resounded with ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans by the participants giving a clear message to the anti-state elements of their courage and patriotism. The foreigners who witnessed the parade said that they enjoyed the parade. The citizens said that they were ready to defend their country against all odds, adding that they won’t hesitate to sacrifice their lives for their country.
