Wajiha Swati murder case: Court extends interim bail of third accused till Jan 3

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Additional District and Sessions Khurram Saleem Mirza extended the interim bail of the third accused, Saeed Qamar, till January 3 in murder case of Pakistani-origin American national Wajiha Swati.

Police could not present the record of Saeed Qamar in court. Shabnam Nawaz Awan and Adeel Nazeer appeared in court on behalf of Wajiha Swati.

Wajeeha Swati’s former husband Rizwan Habib had allegedly kidnapped and murdered her. He has also confessed to his crime.

On the other hand, Senator Azam Tarrar said during a meeting that a committee will be formed for the case. "The state will pursue the case if her heirs do not want to pursue it," he added.

He also demanded a report from the KPK IGP and the Rawalpindi RPO within 14 days.
