Want to hold Senate election through open ballot to stop bargain on vote: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that they want to hold the Senate election through the open ballot to stop bargaining on vote.

He was addressing a meeting of the federal cabinet on Tuesday.

The cabinet approved the establishment of 30 new accountability courts. The cabinet members agreed to increase the salaries of the federal government employees by 40 percent.

The forum also approved the appointment of Masroor Khan as OGRA chairman.

The Task Force chairman briefed the cabinet about Information Technology, Telecom and vacant posts in public sector institutions. It was also informed about the Metro Bus project.

Meanwhile, the cabinet also appointed the Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation administrator. It also endorsed the decisions of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) made on February 2.
