KARACHI (92 News) – Karachi Mayor Wasim Akhtar has hinted at convening a meeting of the Rabita Committee after the offer made by PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Reacting to the offer of Bilawal Bhutto, he said that the MQM had reconciled with each government. “The MQM Rabita Committee will decide on the offer made by Bilawal Bhutto,” he announced. MQM leader Firdous Naqvi said that Bilawal knew nothing and often had dreams. “A person has to show something to become a leader. The people have been testing the MQM for the last 32 years,” he said. On the other hand, PTI leader Khurram Sher Zaman said that Bilawal can have the dreams of his choice. “His father can also have the dreams of his choice. In 2020, there will not be PPP government in Sindh,” he declared. He held the Sindh government responsible for the collapse of the building in Karachi. “The provincial government that allowed the substandard building should also compensate for the losses of the people,” he said. Earlier on Monday, Bilawal Bhutto had offered Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to join the Sindh government. Speaking to the journalists in Karachi, the PPP chairman gave offer to the MQM party to quit the alliance with federal government and join the Sindh government. “MQM should leave the alliance with the incumbent government for saving Sindh,” he added. Bilawal Bhutto mentioned that every slogan of Prime Minister Imran Khan has proved to be false. “MQM should leave PTI and join the PPP. We are ready to give same ministries to the MQM which they have in the federal government,” he offered. The PPP chairman said that the people should be given basic rights. “History witnessed that the PPP always supported and stand with the poor people. Closure of gas is an anti-federation project,” he added.
