ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Sewage water samples from across Pakistan have found to be free from the polio virus for the first time. The World Health Organization had collected the water samples from 41 locations in major cities. The samples were taken from sensitive areas and towns including Afghan settlements regarding polio. According to a report of the Value Emergency Operation Center, 35 percent polio virus was present in the sewerage water samples in 2014, while 20 percent polio virus was present in 2015.
