We are continuously in touch with Taliban to ensure security of Pakistan: DG ISPR

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – DG ISPR Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar has said that they are continuously in touch with the Taliban to ensure security of Pakistan.

In an interview on Monday, he said that the Taliban had reiterated several times that the Afghan soil will not be used against Pakistan.

"There is no reason to doubt the intention of the Taliban. Despite difficulties, we have competed 90 percent of work on the border," he said. "The border management is being improved continuously. It will be completely secured in future."

The DG ISPR said that the India media gives an air to fake news and stories. "Some renowned international media institutions and Indian journalists tried to implicate Pakistan in internal matters of Afghanistan through the incidents occurring there," he added.
