We are successfully fighting war against terrorists in North Waziristan, says PM Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that they are successfully fighting a war against terrorists in North Waziristan. He was presiding over a meeting of Ulema belonging to different schools of thought in Islamabad on Monday. “We have broken the backbone of terrorists and dismantled their network.” The prime minister said that the National Action Plan (NAP) was being implemented in letter and spirit. He stressed the need for unity and cooperation to eliminate terrorism from the country, eradicate crimes and make the country a place to live for the coming generations. Nawaz Sharif said that they had achieved successes against militants more than their expectations. “Heroes like MM Alam are asset of the nation,” he maintained. He said that the Operation Zarb-e-Azb was continuing successfully in North Waziristan and yielding positive results.
