ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said that the government could not rectify the matters pertaining to the national exchequer.

Expressing his views in the National Assembly on Saturday, he said that costly power agreements were inked in the past.

"Prices of everything will lower after a decrease in the electricity rate. Each government approaches the International Monetary Fund (IMF)," he maintained.

The minister said that all parties should discuss the electoral reforms. "The election campaign is started after three years of the government. Whatever happened in the National Assembly was not the job of literate persons," he added.

He said that all visas have been made online.
