ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that they might have political differences, but they are united for Pakistan. Expressing his views in the Senate on Thursday, he thanked the PML-N, PPP and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) for supporting the government in the legislation about the FATF. "All parties ruined the nefarious designs of India. Pakistan will soon come out of the grey list," he said. He said that today the parliament had proved its supremacy. "We played the role of a responsible state in the International Court of Justice (ICJ)," he said. "Pakistan gave Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav the consular access and foiled each design of India through the steps," he said. Federal Law Minister Farogh Naseem said that the legislation would help meet the deadline of the FATF. "Today two bills pertaining to the FATF were approved in the Senate. I congratulate the nation," he said. He said that the passed bills are the Anti-Terrorism (Amendment) Bill 2020 and the United Nations (Security Council) (Amendment) Bill 2020. Faraogh Naseem appealed to the nation to observe the Eid keeping in view the principles of social distancing.
