We openly support Kashmiris' right to self-determination: Chaudhary Sarwar

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has paid tribute to all those brothers, sisters and mothers who made sacrifices in their struggle for independence in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Addressing a ceremony on Saturday, he said that he salutes the Kashmiri brothers who are fighting for their freedom. “We promise that we will always be standing with Kashmiri brothers and sisters. We have been raising voice for Kashmiris at every forum for the last 40-50 years,” he added.

He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed are making efforts to highlight issue of Kashmir at the international forums. “India killed people in Kashmir but their courage is not down,” he maintained.

The governor said that whenever Kashmiris got opportunity to vote they will vote in favour of Pakistan. “India is trying to change Muslim’s majority into a minority in Kashmir. The nation is on the same page over the Kashmir issue,” he concluded.
