We respect judiciary, don’t want confrontation with it: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that they respect the judiciary and do not want confrontation with it. During a meeting of the PTI core committee on Friday, the prime minister stopped the party members from issuing statements on the Qazi Faez case. “The opposition is hell-bent on doing politics in the epidemic situation,” he said. The prime minister said that they would not conceal anything from the nation and tell the people truth. PM Imran Khan expressed satisfaction over the performance of the ministers about the coronavirus. He, however, directed the parliamentarians of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to engage in awareness campaign for implementation of SOPs to prevent the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the country. He asked the parliamentarians to encourage the people for adopting preventive measures. “It is important to raise the sense of individual and collective responsibility in people to get rid of this pandemic,” he added. The core committee endorsed the steps taken by the federal government to cope with the coronavirus in the country.
