LAHORE (92 News) – Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that he and his brother Nawaz Sharif never got any loan written off and returned all the loans with the markup. Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said: “We never devoured the loans, but returned every penny of them.” He said that Musharraf had constituted the reference against Ittefaq Foundry in revenge. The chief minister said that their assets were with the banks. “Ittefaq Foundry never got any loan written off. National Bank of Pakistan had sent their clearance certificate to the NAB,” he maintained. He said that they had fulfilled the promises they made with the people. Shahbaz Sharif alleged that Musharraf had written off the loans of his favourites whom he wanted to contest the elections.
