We salute those who rendered sacrifices for country’s sovereignty, says President Mamnoon Hussain

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – President Mamnoon Hussain has said that Pakistan is peace loving country and wanted to promote peace in the region. In his message on the occasion of Defense Day, President said that they salute to those who rendered sacrifices for the country’s sovereignty and stability. He said that they will do everything for the protection and stability of the country. On the other hand, prime minister Nawaz Sharif said in his message that the success of Operation Zarb-e-Azb is a proof that Pakistan Army can fight against all odds, adding that the unity of political and military leadership against terrorism is historic. He said that Pakistan is peace loving and responsible nuclear power, adding that they wanted cordial relationship with its neighbors. Meanwhile, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif said in its message that Pakistan Army had proved it can defend aggression on September 6, adding that terrorism will soon be eliminated from the country. “Operation Zarb-e-Azb will soon achieve its targets,” he said.
