We saved people from Covid-19 despite being termed as incompetent: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the Ring Road project was delayed due to corruption.

Addressing the 14th International Chambers Summit 2022 being held under the auspices of Rawalpindi Chambers of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday, he said that the people say the government is incompetent. "We saved the nation from Covid-19 despite being termed as incompetent," he maintained.

The prime minister said that the Ring Road project was delayed due to corruption, which is a symbol of lack of justice in the country. "The mafia does not want the rule of law in the country. They want the rule of power," he added.

Imran Khan said that the country would have bankrupted had Saudi Arabia, the UAE and China not given the financial assistance. "Pakistan is still less costlier than other countries," he added.

He said that the government would lease the land to the industry.
