We should not seek a cricket series with India, says Shahid Afridi

LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan T20 captain Shahid Afridi has on Friday said that if Indian do not want to play, we should not seek a cricket series with India and concentrate on series with other teams.

Talking to media after practice session in Gaddafi Stadium, he said that we have invited India so many times but India does not want to play and this is the decision of Indian government, adding that the cricket fans wants to see both teams playing.

Afridi said that organizing Pakistan Super League is a positive step and he hoped the league to succeed.

He wished young opener Ahmad Shahzad on his wedding.

Commenting on Zimbabwe series, he said that it will not be easy an easy series in Zimbabwae as the team is performing well in home ground, adding that the series would help as practice for World T20.
