ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that they want to see peace in Afghanistan and the international community is in contact with them.

Talking to the media on Monday, he said that Pakistan is standing with the world in these circumstances. "No decision has been made about the Afghan refugees. After the current Afghan situation, China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has become more important," he added.

He said that some members of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have been released from Afghan jails.

The minister said that international conspiracies are being hatched against CPEC. "Some people who attacked the Chinese people have been arrested," he disclosed.

Sheikh Rasheed said that the Pak Army is providing security to the Chinese companies. "We are giving one-month visa to diplomats. 500 people are on a transit visa," he said.

He said that the Taliban had assured that the Afghan land would not be used against Pakistan. "The Chaman and Torkham border is open for trade. We have given visas to the Afghan cricket team," he concluded.
