We will be responsible if anything happens to Dr Asim, Sindh Rangers prosecutor assures SHC

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh High Court dismissed a plea of the arrested Dr Asim after the assurance of the Sindh Rangers prosecutor that they will be responsible if anything happens to him. The Sindh Rangers prosecutor told the court that all the tests of Dr Asim are normal. “Dr Asim has not been arrested from a hospital bed.” The counsel for Dr Asim said that his client is suffering from a brain tumor and a medical board should be constituted in this regard. The Sindh Rangers Medical Services deputy director, while presenting his medical report, said that all the tests of Dr Asim have been conducted at Agha Khan Hospital and they are normal. The additional deputy attorney general said that they were investigating the accused about heinous crimes and he would be hospitalized immediately if the need be. “Diabetics is not such disease that he might be admitted to hospital.” Justice Sajjad Ali Shah remarked that the blood pressure would increase when the Rangers would arrest someone.
