We will have to do a lot to evade default, says Khawaja Saad Rafique
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that the people will have to do a lot to evade the default.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he said that all people will have to give sacrifice and change their habits. "Those who took the country to this stage should be punished," he demanded.
The minister said that the salaries of the railway employees are blocked and there is need for Rs40 billion immediately. "The country is facing economic crisis. The increase in the POL products prices has turned our budget upside down.
He announced that the railway fares will not be increased if the government signed the agreement to purchase oil from Russia at a low rate.
