Weather turns pleasant as rain lashes most parts of country

LAHORE (92 News) – Most parts of the country including Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore experienced rainfall late on Sunday, turning the weather pleasant and giving citizen’s temporary relief from the ongoing heat wave. As per details, most parts of country including Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi saw rainfall. The downpour also lashed Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Layyah, Sheikhupura and Bannu. DG Met Ghulam Rasool said that Mianwali received maximum rain of 90 millimeter, followed by DI Khan 64 mm, Mandi Bahauddin 35, and Rawalpindi 28 millimeters. He said the current rain spell will end tonight. On the other hand, widespread rain and thundershowers with isolated heavy falls accompanied by strong gusty winds are expected in Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
