ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has said that Imran Niazi levelled allegations against him day and night and could not prove anything against him.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he said that the NAB and the FIA had accused them of looting billions of rupees.

"I, my brother, our children and party leaders were put in jails, but nothing could be proved. They chased us in London and the National Crime Agency (NCA). Today facts are before the nation. There is wailing in the ranks of the government," he added.

Shehbaz Sharif said that their four accounts were sealed in the United Kingdom. "The nation was misled treacherously. My account was closed in 2018," he added.

He said that a fake news got published against him in Daily Mail. "David Rose could not submit the reply in court even after seven months. There are no two opinions that there is a nexus between the NAB and Niazi. Not a single penny could be proved against me in two years," he maintained.

The PML-N president said that the NCA had given him a clean chit and investigations against him had ended.
