ISLAMABAD (92News) – Nasir Butt – main character of alleged video regarding Accountability Judge Arshad Malik released by Maryam Nawaz – is PML-N’s vice president in UK. According to the details obtained by 92 News, Nasir Butt was seen many times with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif during the London visit. He is close aide of the former premier. He is associated with the PML-N from previous 20 years and he always supported his party against rival party in London. He was arrested once due to quarrel with PTI protestors by London police. Nasir Butt fled to London in 90s after murdering two people and sought political asylum there. During the tenure of PML-N, when acquired all the seats of Rawalpindi constituencies but Nasir’s brother was defeated on party ticket. It was reported that 14 criminal cases had been registered against Nasir Butt in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. These cases were registered against him at different police stations of the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi during a period between 1982 and 1996. The charges leveled against him in the cases ranged from attempted murder, possession of illicit arms to deterring public servant from discharging his duty. First case against him was registered at police station Murree due to intervention in governmental affairs on June 9 1982. A case of murder attempt was registered against him at city police station on January 28 1986. On 23 May 1986 a case of murder and murder attempt was registered against him at Sadiqabad police station. Earlier today, addressing a press conference, Maryam Nawaz showed reporters a secret alleged video in which accountability court judge Arshad Malik was talking to a PML-N worker Nasir Butt. “No evidence that a single penny has been shifted from Pakistan. No evidence of shifting any money by accused from Pakistan,” Maryam translated the judge Arshad Malik as saying from the video.
