LAHORE (Web Desk) The reason behind the alleged torture of former stage actress and dancer Nargis by her husband has come to light.

Lahore police had registered a case of torture and death threats against the alleged torture of actress Nargis by her husband, Inspector Majid Bashir.

The tragic incident of domestic violence took place at the residence of the actress in the Defence area of Lahore.

The actress alleged in her complaint to police that her husband Majid Bashir had tortured her with an official pistol, dragged her by her hair, and threatened to kill her.

A case against the accused was registered at Defence C police station.

According to the text of the FIR, actress Nargis stated that her husband, Inspector Majid Bashir, wanted to get her property documents, cash, and a farm house transferred in his name.

“Apart from this, the accused also wanted to get a 9-Kanal plot transferred in his name,” she said and added that her husband got furious upon her refusal and subjected her to torture in front of house servants and her nephew.

The actress further alleged that her husband came home after Fajr prayers and demanded a huge amount of money from her, and he also expressed his desire to bring a woman named Maryam home, which led to a fight between them.

Nargis alleged that her husband threatened to kill her if she did not give him a farmhouse, gold, and cash.

A video of the actress also made the rounds on social media in which she showed the injuries on her body due to violence.

It should be noted here that the incident of violence against actress Nargis took place on Friday morning, but her husband could not be arrested so far.

Police said that Nargis had come to the police station after the quarrel, but she did not file any FIR.

It is also worth mentioning here that stage actress and dancer Nargis married Inspector Majid Bashir a few years ago and is running a beauty salon after saying goodbye to showbiz.
