Will 'absolutely not' allow US to use our bases, categorically declares PM Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has categorically declared that Pakistan will 'absolutely not' allow the CIA to use bases on its soil for cross-border counterterrorism missions after American forces withdraw from Afghanistan.
In an interview with 'Axios on HBO', he said: "Pakistan will not allow the CIA or US special forces to base themselves inside his country ever again."
To a question by US journalist Jonathan Swan that whether he will allow the American government to have the CIA here in Pakistan to conduct cross border counter-terrorism missions against Al Qaeda, ISIS and the Taliban, the prime minister said: “There’s no way we're going to allow any bases or any sort of action from Pakistani territory into Afghanistan. Absolutely not.”
