Will give date for dissolving Punjab, KP assemblies at Liberty Chowk on Dec 17: Imran Khan

LAHORE (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has announced that he will give the date for dissolving the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies at Liberty Chowk on December 17.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, he said that the PTI MNAs will announce their resignations before National Assembly Speaker Raja Parvez Ashraf.

He requested the institutions to take the country towards the elections if they care for the country. "There will be chaos in the country if the transparent elections were not held in the country," he added.

Imran Khan said that he was not seeking help from the establishment. "I want to see the institutions neutral. The chief election commissioner has one point agenda to get me disqualified," he declared.

He said that attempt on his life was made to gag him. "What General (retired) Bajwa did to the country should not be done by the enemy? The economy is destroying. The situation has reached this point that there will be a loss if the action is not taken," he opined.

Imran Khan said that when the Toshakhana and foreign funding cases would go to court, it would be proved that no illegal work was done in them. "The government is not serious about holding the elections because they know that they will lose then and will face accountability again," he concluded.
