ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Fridous Ashiq Awan has said the government will hold talks with the opposition if the matter is in the national interest. Talking to the media on Saturday, she said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has supported the economy. “The government is trying to overcome challenges. The past rulers have burdened the rulers with loans,” she said. Fridous Ashiq Awan said that the PTI government had inherited the loans. “The countries are run by tax collection. Only five percent of the community is carrying the burden of 95 percent people,” she said, adding the Loan Commission was not for a particular party. She said that the commission was formed for investigating the loans. “There should be a method to get, spend and return the loans,” she added. The special assistant said that five percent black sheep of the FBR are a blot on the performance of 95 percent. Earlier in her tweets, she urged JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman not to lockdown Islamabad for the sake of his political interests. “The cat, of Maulana Fazlur Rehman's march, is out of bag now after yesterday's media talk of Nawaz Sharif. The JUI-F chief’s march is not for the freedom of Kashmiris but to get freed the plunderers of the national exchequer.” She said that the black day against India has been chosen for the politics in order to appease internal and external masters. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Maulana is not taking to the streets for the sake of oppressed Kashmiri people but to protect economic and political interests of the kings of corruption.
