ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has clarified that he will never compromise on ideology and National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) was not given to former premier Nawaz Sharif. In an interview with private TV channel, the prime minister said that the medical opinion of expert doctors was the only reason of allowing Nawaz Sharif to go abroad. "It is not appropriate to say in this time that any king had recommended letting go Nawaz Sharif to London," he added. “I will never compromise on ideology and blackmail me as much as they want but I will not give NRO. I wouldn’t have given Nawaz permission to fly abroad if medical board hadn’t tell that his life was in danger,” Imran Khan expressed his commitment. Country may include in black list "If FATF bill does not approve, country will included in the black list," PM Khan maintained. He urged the opposition to stay united on national issues like Kashmir crisis and Pakistan's exclusion from FATF's grey list. "India has been lobbying to include Pakistan on FATF's blacklist for last two years," he added. The premier said the only interest of opposition is to go against the national interest just to save its vested interest. He said that government will call joint session of the parliament next week for legislation on FATF's rulings. Rule of law, elimination of corruption Imran Khan has said that the current government believes in rule of law contrary to previous regimes where law was meant to poor only. He said no government has been blackmailed to this extent in the past. He said holding of non-party elections led to corruption. Regarding health reports of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, the premier said medical opinion of expert doctors was the only reason of allowing him to go abroad. He said economic indicators of the country are on positive trajectory. Plan for permanent solution to Sindh The prime minister said that the federal government, in collaboration with Sindh government, will make a plan for a permanent solution to the problems caused by floods by cleaning of nullahs, fixing of the sewage system and resolving the huge challenge of water supply to the people of Karachi.
