Will not resign at behest of anyone else: Fawad
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that there is no question of resigning at the behest of anyone else.
In his tweet, Fawad Chaudhry said that I will remain a minister as long as the prime minister has confidence in me and added that the politics is not a game of weak hearted.
Earlier, following to the controversial statements of ministers, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has started meeting with the ministers separately on Wednesday. According to the sources, Imran Khan has launched bid to iron out differences between the federal ministers emerged during the federal cabinet meeting. The prime minister held separate meetings with federal ministers. Those who held meetings with Imran Khan include Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives Asad Umar. During the meetings, the prime minister discussed the disorder and heat during the federal cabinet meeting. On the occasion, Asad Umar and Shah Mahmood Qureshi apprised the premier on their respective positions and offered explanations. Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar raised the issue of Fawad Chaudhry s statement before the prime minister.
