Will take to streets soon after recovery and give call for Islamabad: Imran Khan
LAHORE (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial to save Pakistan as well as take suo motu to provide him justice.
Addressing the nation from Shaukat Khanum Hospital on Friday, he said that the leader of the Pakistan's biggest party is not getting justice. He appealed to the chief justice to ensure the rule of law as it his responsibility to do so. "We have tried to get the FIR registered, but all are fearful."
Imran Khan said that he will take to streets soon after his recovery and give the call for Islamabad.
He said that he came to know a day ago that they had planned to kill him in Wazirabad or Gujranwala. "Three people made a plan to kill me, but Allah Almighty saved me. But they left no stone unturned to implement their plan," he added.
The PTI chairman said that the firing on him was a conspiracy and they decided to kill him like Punjab former governor Salman Taseer. "The fire was opened from both sides of the container. When I fell down, the shooter thought that I was dead. There are some other people with the nabbed accused. There would have been a big disaster if Ibtesam had not shown courage," he maintained.
Imran Khan said that the plan was made to get him killed by a religious extremist. "I knew that who was projecting them. I have made a video. The nation should understand that what has happened," he added.
The former premier said that the people have rejected the imported government. "They thought the 'Mummy Daddy' party will end. It is visible that the nation has rejected the government," he maintained.
The PTI chairman said that the Sharif family has constantly been telling lies. "We made legal fund-raising. They want to make the PTI donors escape. We collect money from the people. We can stand for their interest," he said.
