Winter vacations announced in Sindh

KARACHI (92 News) – All educational institutions including schools in Sindh will remain closed from December 22-31, 2016 for winter holidays, Sindh Education Department announced on Sunday. According to a notification from the Sindh Education Department, educational institutes will reopen on January 1, 2017 after a 10-day break from December 22 to 31 across the province. The schedule will be followed by both public and private educational institutions in the province. The notification has been sent to all educational institution in the province. The Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments are yet to make any formal announcement in this regard. There is no word from the federal government and Islamabad also about the closure of schools due to winter holidays.
