Woman among three killed, two injured in Quetta attack

QUETTA (92 News) – At least three people including two cops and a passerby woman were killed some unidentified armed assailants attacked a senior police officer’s convoy in the provincial capital’s Sariab road area. Some unknown armed motorcyclists opened firing at the convoy of Superintendent of Police Zahoor Ahmad Afiridi’s when he was on his way to hospital in Kashmirabad Kali Geo area due to which two policemen and a passerby woman died on the spot while two passersby including a woman suffered injuries In retaliation one of the attackers was killed while others managed to escape. Police and Frontier Corps cordoned off the area and started search operation, while the injured were shifted to a Civil Hospital for treatment.
