Woman, daughter killed by brother in the name of 'honour'

LAHORE (92 News) – A man gunned down his sister and niece in the name of honor in the provincial capital’s Alipura near Badami Bagh area on Tuesday.

As per details, the ill-fated incident took place in Lahore’s Alipura near Badami Bagh where a man namely Shahzad Illyas opened firing, killing sister Bushra, 35, and niece Noor, 16, in the name of honor.

Bushra had contracted second marriage six months ago after her first marriage ended and her brother had a grudge. The deceased were living alone in the house.

The culprit managed to flee from the spot.

After being informed, police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the morgue for autopsy.

Police have lodged a case against the accused and launched investigation.
