Woman, daughter killed in blast during CNG filling process

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Woman and her daughter was killed while three others were severely injured as blast occurred in a car during Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) filling process at Charsadda Road in Peshawar on Friday. According to the details garnered, the incident took place in Peshawar’s area of Khazana. The blast took place while filling process at the CNG station in a vehicle. Tariq Jan, resident of Bakhshi Pul, along with wife and daughter was travelling to Peshawar. He stopped his car at Charsadda Road for filling CNG but suddenly cylinder blast occurred. The vehicle was also destroyed due to the blast. His wife and one-year-old daughter was killed during the blast while two CNG employees injured. The security personnel immediately arrived at the scene and shifted the victims to the hospital for medical assistance. The officers said that investigation into the matter has been launched.
