KARACHI (92 News) – A woman in Karachi, who was declared dead by doctors on Wednesday and placed in a morgue refrigerator was actually still alive. She was eventually found alive when she stood on her feet during her final rights were being performed at the mortuary in the metropolis. According to reports, 80-year-old Rashida Bibi had been shifted in Karachi’s Abbasi Shaheed healthcare facility previous day. The doctors declared her medically as dead and had issued a formal death certificate of the woman. It added that her body was shifted to the morgue refrigerator for remaining rituals before her burial. The woman was being bathed before her burial ceremony when what was considered a corpse came back to life. In shock, horror, and amazement at what had transpired, the women designated with bathing Rashid Bibi’s corpse ran out of the mortuary, speechless. Rashida Bibi was suffering from paralysis for the past 1.5 years. The family and loved ones after regaining their mental faculties shifted Rashida Bibi back to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. When the news was broadcasted at 92 News channel, the administration became active. Senior Director Dr Salma Kauser arrived at Abbasi Hospital and investigated the matter. Talking with 92 News, she said that such incident has been seen many times in the films but this is seen first time in the reality. She also assured to take strict action against the responsible.
