Woman, five kids die in Harnai landslide after heavy rains

QUETTA (92 News) – A woman and her five children were killed when the roof of a house collapsed during landslide in Harnai on Monday. The deceased belonged to a family. The bodies have been recovered from the debris. A two-year-old girl miraculously survived the tragedy. Deputy Commissioner Azim Jan Dumar said that a woman and her five children were killed in Zinda Pir area. “The landslide was triggered by heavy rains in the area,” he said After getting information, rescue teams quickly reached the site and began rescue operations, retrieving six bodies from under the debris. Heavy rains in parts of Balochistan have caused flash floods, bringing routine life to a standstill.
