Woman gives birth to baby outside MS office in Ganga Ram Hospital

LAHORE (92 News) – A woman gave birth to a baby outside office of Ganga Ram Hospital Medical Superintendent (MS) in the provincial capital home to the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) due to unavailability of doctors. As per details, a woman was brought to Ganga Ram Hospital with severe labour pain. However, she was refused admission into the hospital by the medical superintendent. When the woman just got out the trauma centre she felt severe pain and in the meanwhile gave birth to a baby outside the office of the hospital’s MS. Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif took notice of the news aired on 92 News and called for an investigation into the matter. Later, Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique reached hospital and suspended the hospital’s Director Emergency. Talking to media, he said that a four-member committee has been formed to investigate into the matter.
