Woman inadvertently crossing over LoC returned to IOK

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – As a gesture of goodwill and in continuation of Pakistan Army’s efforts to maintain peace and tranquility along Line of Control (LoC), a woman inadvertently crossing over the LoC was returned to Indian Occupied Kashmir on Tuesday. Azmat Jan, wife of Muhammad Shakeel of Degwar Maldialan (IOK), had inadvertently crossed over the LoC at Chirikot Sector. She was returned to IOK at Rawala-Poonch crossing point on humanitarian grounds. Civil and military officials of both sides were present on the occasion.
