Woman injured in Indian unprovoked ceasefire violation in Karela sector

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – A woman was seriously injured by the Indian unprovoked ceasefire violation in Karela sector along the Line of Control (LOC), targeting civil population. According to a press release issued by the ISPR, the injured woman belonged to Batla Mathrani village. The ‪Pakistan Army troops responded effectively to the Indian firing. On June 21, a 13-year-old girl, identified as Iqra Shabbir, had embraced martyrdom as Indian troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violations along the line of control (LoC). According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian Army troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in Hajipir and Bedori Sectors along the Line of Control (LoC) last night and targeted the civil population. “Due to indiscriminate firing of Indian troops in Mensar village, Bedori sector, a 13-year-old girl Iqra Shabbir embraced shahadat, while her mother and a 12-year-old boy sustained serious injuries. Pakistan Army troops responded effectively to the Indian firing,” the ISPR tweeted.
