Woman martyred, 6 injured in Indian unprovoked firing in Nikial & Jandrot sectors

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing in Nikial and Jandrot sectors along the Line of Control (LoC), targeting civil population, said a press release issued by the ISPR on Saturday. As a result, an innocent woman Fatima Bibi, 40, of Balakot Village embraced martyrdom. In addition, six individuals, including four women, were injured. The injured have been evacuated to a nearby medical facility for necessary medical treatment. Earlier on Saturday morning, a soldier was martyred in Indian unprovoked firing in Hajipir Sector along the Line of Control (LoC). According to the ISPR, Havaldar Nasir Hussain, 33, was a resident of Narowal and had served the Pak Army for 16 years.
2 citizens martyred in Indian unprovoked firing in Nekrun sector
On August 27, two citizens were martyred when Indian Army resorted to unprovoked firing in Nekrun Sector along the Line of Control (LoC) deliberately targeting the civil population. The martyred citizens were identified as Abdul Jalil, 45, and 3-year-old Nausheen. Moreover, three citizens were injured while three houses were burnt due to shelling. The injured have been evacuated to hospital.
Two civilians martyred as Indian Army opens unprovoked fire
On August 19, two elderly civilians were martyred in another unprovoked firing by Indian army with heavy arms along the Line of Control (LoC). Amid heightened tensions between the border countries Indian, India’s Army targeted civil population with mortars and Anti-Tank Guided Missiles in Hot Spring (Tatta Pani) Sector along LoC. According to the Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR), innocent civilians 75-year-old Lal Muhamamd S/O of Muhamamd Din and 61-year-old Hassan Din S/O Lal Din, both residents of Village Nagrai, embraced martyrdom. Two Indian army soldiers killed and several others wounded after Pakistan Army retaliated heavy fire by Indian Army and targeted India’s check-posts.
