Woman martyred, girl injured in Indian unprovoked CFVs along LOC

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – A woman was martyred and an eight-year-old girl injured when Indian troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violations (CVFs) in Jandrot and Khuiratta sectors along the Line of Control (LoC) on Monday. According to a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian troops initiated unprovoked CFVs along the LOC and deliberately targeted civilian population this morning. As a result, Yasmeen was martyred while the girl sustained injuries who was evacuated and being provided medical care. On April 11, four citizens, including a 15-year-old girl, were injured in Indian ceasefire violations (CFVs) in Sharda, Dhudnial and Shahkot sectors along the Line of Control (LoC). Owing to to Indian Army’s indiscriminate fire of heavy weapons at Bessan Wali and Chhari villages, four innocent civilians sustained serious injuries. The injured have been shifted to hospital. The Pakistan Army troops responded effectively with matching calibre and targeted those Indian Army posts which initiated fire. In 2020, Indian Army committed 709 ceasefire violations and as a result, three citizens embraced martyrdom while 43 sustained injuries.
