LAHORE (92 News) – A woman has appealed to philanthropists for financial help for the treatment of her six-year-old daughter suffering from severe kidney ailment. Talking to 92 News, Hamna’s mother, a resident of Lahore's Samanabad area, said that one of her daughter’s kidneys was removed after it became dysfunctional three years ago. “After sometime, my daughter’s second kidney also developed problem and doctors suggested its operation after six months. However, the operation could not be conducted even after three years as we did not have money. As a result, her second kidney has also become dysfunctional,” she lamented. The worried mother said that doctors neither listen to them nor do the treatment. “My husband’s salary is Rs 12,000 per month and it is impossible to make both ends meet with this meager amount. How can we afford costly treatment of our daughter?” she said, while weeping. She said that she had been visiting hospitals for the last three years. “Doctors advise us to take our daughter to home if we do not have money for treatment,” he added. She appealed to philanthropists to bear the treatment expenditures of their daughter so that she could lead a healthy life.
