Woman tortured, head shaved by in-laws in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – A woman was tortured and her head shaved by her in-laws in Samanabad area on Thursday. Sanobar was married to a youth about 10 months ago. Her husband went to Saudi Arabia for a job. She was stopped by her in-laws not to visit the house of her parents. On the day of the incident, her parents came to meet her. But her in-laws did not allow her to meet her parents. On her insistence, Sanobar’s sister-in-law tortured and shaved her head. The police have arrested Sanobar’s sister-in-law. A case has been registered against her.
