Woman treated without bed, stretcher at Gujranwala DHQ Hospital

GUJRANWALA (92 News) – The poor facilities in the government hospitals of Punjab could not be improved as a woman could not find a stretcher or bed at Gujranwala District Hospital. Sixty-year-old Basheeran, belonging to a nearby area of Gujranwala, was brought to District Hospital Gujranwala due to abdominal pain but could not find a bed. Consequently, the woman was treated on a ‘Charpayi’ and was shifted from one ward to another for tests without a stretcher.
