Women, children among 28 die as passenger bus falls into a ditch in Balochistan’s Washuk area

QUETTA (92 News) - As many as 28 people, including women and children, were killed when a passenger bus fell into a ditch in Washuk on Wednesday.

Twenty-two people were injured in the accident. The condition of several injured people is stated to be critical. The bodies and injured were shifted to nearby hospitals.

The doomed bus was sheading to Quetta from Gwadar. The accident occurred after the tyre burst.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Governor Sarfraz Bugti have expressed their deep grief over the loss of lives in a tragic traffic accident.

They prayed to Allah Almighty for peace for the departed souls and sympathized with the bereaved families.
