NOWSHERA (92 News) – Taking to the media at the Elite Force Training School in Nowshera today (Wednesday), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said the women commandos will play an active role in counter-terrorism efforts as they can go into homes in a conservative society in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. “The female commandos here are getting state of the art training to become a formidable counter terrorism force in KPK,” he added. On the occasion, the PTI chief congratulated IG Nasir Durrani and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police. He said the provincial government has spent extra from its own budgets to train the elite force as it is the need of the hour. To a question, Khan said that Altaf Hussain has apologised to the female party workers for using harsh words against them but no apology will be accepted for Baldia Town tragedy. “Poor women, children were killed. The government must act on it immediately and act on JIT findings. There should be no delays,” he stated. Giving his remarks on NA-122 vote recount, Imran Khan said the result will be summed up on Saturday and everything will become clear that day.
