Expensive makeup in the budget has put women in a difficult situation, say the girls, adding that the government should impose taxes on whatever it wants but not on makeup at all.

Shopkeepers say that due to inflation, the visit of buyers continuously declining already, but now it will increase further.

The federal budget 2021-22 proposes to make imported cosmetics more expensive. The government says this will increase the use of locally made makeup products, but most women prefer imported makeup.
